Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT BALL This was a real shock! I used Top Flite as a young golfer and recall what a rock it was. I use the Pro V1 most of the time as I play Titleist clubs, I've used the Max Fly U6 Tour as well and really liked it until trying these. My wife gave them to me for Christmas and WOW was I surprised!! The ball is very soft, and fly's long and strait. I get about 15 more yards over the U6 and 5+ over the V1. The feel is awesome off all my woods and my CB/MB irons. and the still get good spin of the wedges. I plan to get 2 more dozen so my wife and daughter can try them. Great Job and Great product.....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid ball. Great value. I've played every generation of the Gamer Tour including the newest version. The ball performs well around the green and will check up well if hit well from the fairway. I get about the same distance from this ball as any other brand. I mainly play urethane covered balls and feel that this ball performs comparably to Project A or other mid range urethane balls. The only negative I have with this ball is that is scuffs easily from wedge shots. Greenside bunker shots almost always result in a scuff. However, the price point makes it a moot issue for me. These balls are definitely good quality, especially for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Six Stars All the Way! I have been using the Gamer Yellow Ball and I liked it alot but I needed some more help around the green and the Game Tour Ball provided that. I noticed no difference from the tee with the Gamer Tour verses the Gamer Yellow but I was more accurate with the Gamer Tour around the greens. I just bought the Gamer Tour for $12,49 per doxen and I used ithis ball today for the first time and I shot the lowest score I ever scored on nine holes with a score of 43. This was 12 strokes lower than what I shot on the same course 4 days ago..This ball is too good to be true and is an absolute steal on sale for $12,49 per dozen.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ball failure I bought the ball with high hopes that it would perform well off the tee and feel around the green. Before I bought the ball, I read a review that the ball didn't hold up in cold weather. Well, it appears that this is true. I left the balls in my car overnight and it went to the low 40 F. At tee time, the temp was around 42 degreesF. On the second hole drive, I used a Adams hybrid for a 200 yard shot. I hit the ball and it went about 100 yards. As I checked for the marks on my ball I noticed that the cover of the ball cracked. I was very disappointed and switched to a Srixon Z. Thus, I returned the ball to Dicks and exchanged the balls for Srixons Trispeeds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Underrated golf ball Lots of talk on the Internet about how these balls are not durable or shred easily. While I don't think these balls spin rate is quite on par with "premium" tour balls, neither is the price. Thw durability, however, should not be in question. I played 27 holes with one ball and it is still usable, albeit with a couple light scuffs. Overall the distance didn't seem any different and my scores stayed the same too. I typically use diablo tour or maxfli U6 for practice rounds, b330 and prov1/v1x for events. I may switch to these after I deplete my stock of other balls. 24 y/o 4.1 hcp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top Flite Gamer Tour is a Top Rated Ball A couple of years back I read articles in both Golf Magazine and Golf Digest where they rated this ball a Gold Pick. They said it was the best ball for the price... and they were right. The ball is a 3 core with a super urethane cover that gives the ball both distance and control. I am a 0.6 handicapper and only play 2 balls: this one or the Titleist Pro V1.x . There is a slight difference between the two but it is very slight. What is not so slight is the price: On special they go for 2 dozens for $35 versus the $50 a dozen for Pro Vs. You may also consider the Top Flite Gamer (not the tour version) which is even less expensive but almost the same with the exception of the super urethane cover on the Tour version which gives the ball more action on the greens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really like these golf balls When I hit the first ball with a 23 degree hybrid, I never felt the contact but the ball was away with a very nice trajectory and travelled as far as I wanted it to. My 7 iron is a weak 35 degree loft and I hit the green at 150 yards. My driver was about 240 into a light breeze and the ball drew nicely. A 6 iron onto the green and the moment of impact was inconsequential. I hit a Vice Pro with a wedge 100 yards to compare and they landed within a foot of each other. If you spin the ball it will stop on the green but to be fair, they are soft from the rain. Full disclosure, I am not a powerful striker of the ball. I make good clean contact using Wilson V2 Tour irons. I dream of distance but am more like a Korean girl without the deadly chipping accuracy. For me, these balls play well, very well. Here is the kicker, I hit the flash BOGO sale and got 4 dozen for $43. I am not afraid to go after shots for fear of throwing $5 into the woods or the pond. I have fun playing these golf balls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Average Player I have played either Top Flight or Titleist golf balls for about 35 years. Top Flight used to be known for "hitting a rock" until the redesigned 'thousand' and XL series came out in the 90's. Titleist, well is Titleist. That being said, the Gamer Tour that was introduced ~'15, in my opinion, is the best hitting, chipping, putting ball for my very average game that I have played in years. Period. I do not play in weather below 45 degrees. My clubs are Warrior driver, Nickent hybrids, Titleist AP2 irons, Vokey and Top Flight wedges, and Ping Anser slotted putter. FYI.
