Rated 1 out of 5 by from very short off the tee I've used topflite gamer urethane and really liked them. I recently bought 3 dozen Gamer urethane and used them the day after I got them.I lost at least 30 yards off the tee and i had to club up to get the same distance to hit the greens. They acted like they were dead balls.I went thru a dozen balls and they all were "dead" ! I had a couple Srixon's and a Calloway that I used for the second half of my round and proceeded to regain the lost distance. I would compare these to range balls, that's how bad they were.I don't know if it was a bad batch form the factory but I will definitely not recommend these to anyone. They just ended up in the trash bin

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Played Gamers Since First Offered Played the standard Gamer and the Gamer Soft ever since Dicks put them on the shelf. Never an issue with these. Was hoping this ball would somehow be an improvment but am disappointed. After three holes the urethane cover had slivers and material strings in several spots. Never once experienced this with my standard Gamers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from could be more durable distance and spin has been good for me, but the cover needs improvement. if they fixed that, this ball would be a major winner. but for $12/dozen, i gave 4 stars because the ball still performs very well. i really hope they really test the cover before releasing the next model.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Box Full of Meh... I was a big fan of the original Gamer. Those things were great, but of course, they are being phased out. The Gamer Urethane is fair at the very best. While they feel good off the club face, they don't provide any extra wow. The urethane cover is garbage. The ball was scuffed after the very first hit. I played an entire round with a fresh sleeve yesterday, I went through all of them. It wasn't because I lost them, but rather, they were scuffed up like crazy. Top Flight needs to bring back the original Gamer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Covers shred every wedge shot Ball is only good for one wedge shot. A peeling cover is tough to putt.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Outer Urethane Cover I love the regular Gamer golf balls. The covers are very durable and I can play one ball for multiple rounds some times if I don’t hit many cart paths or trees. These new Urethane golf balls were intriguing to me...so I bought a dozen. The cover is terrible. I had to put a new ball into play on almost every hole because the outer cover shredded so quickly. Horrible product...not worth the money even at its cheap price. The regular Gamer and Gamer Yellow are the best ball Top Flite makes. Hope they don’t go away...cause this new ball sucks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not durable - cover gets cut and “frayed” I was excited about the balls as they recieved good reviews from Golf Digest. However after hitting iron and wedge shots (around 10 shots) at my home range net I found that the cover is not durable at all. The cover surrounding the dimples get chipped off a bit. If this happened during a round it could cause issues during putting. Other balls (ksig3, ksig4) did not show this type of wear.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from covers cut very easy I bought them expected them be as good as the old gamers.. not so much the cover on the new balls just shreds off the ball with any type of iron shot. You need a ball per hole the old gamer was twice the ball this is.
