Rated 5 out of 5 by from Way better than my old metal hopper My metal hopper was such a farce that I had been using a five gallon bucket instead. I would never have purchased this hopper if not for the great reviews here, so I had to add my own. The pieces seemed warped when I pulled them out of the box, but once I fit them together the unit became strong and square. The handles lock in place whether for carrying or dispensing. The design is actually quite impressive and practical. Instructions call for a hammer; that isn't necessary. My fist was plenty to pop the pieces into place prior to adding the screws. The only thing that puzzles me is why the item rang up as $10.00 more than the online price. I'll revisit my local store and ask about that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a must have for beginner kids .. or adults My goal was to make my 5 year-old boys interested in every sports instead of playing video games .. tennis was one of the sports ... they are pretty exited about it but they spent 95 % of time with running after the balls and there was not much practice about hitting the ball... This is a very very must to keep the kids interested since they can hit the balls each after each and not get bored with playing . Playing like half an hour tennis they have a chance to hit more then 100 times and we can save all that money to get a tennis coach :-)And not to mention the joy when they pick up the balls with this ballport :-)The item itself is a sturdy one , easy to assemble , would recommend it to everybody ..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent design (quality of manufacturing could be better) Pros: Small enough to carry around and store conveniently; yet large enough for a recreational player. Assembling was easy and the instructions were clear and helpful.Cons: Some of the plastic parts came slightly warped out of shape, therefore putting everything together properly required a little bit of "forcing things in place".Suggestion: The legs could use some protection on the portions that come in contact with the ground.Overall, a very good product for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well so far Other reviews about putting it together are correct. Watch what you are doing, such as make sure the labels are up when you put sides together. Be careful if you have to take apart bc the plastic male connectors will split. Be gentle when you change handles from pick-up to feet for distribution, as this thing won't last forever. However, it is so nice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweet at a fair price! My boys are loving it .... At first the poor instructions had me worrying that the construction was poor - but once I figured out the assembly - I was very happy with the product. It's amazing that the more expensive offerings don't pick up balls - at least someone understands the concept of a minimum feature set in offering competitve products ;-)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pete Sampras Ball Hopper - Simply Great I use the hopper to practice my serve and when I am just hitting drills with a partner. The size 48 balls is perfect. And it is so light weight so no struggle to carry it to the court. Love the way the handles invert to enable easy reach and they lock in place easily. Read some reviews that said difficult to put together- no complaints here.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 36 ball hopper only thing I found wrong; the 2 plastic rods used to pickup tennis balls sometimes fall out when hopper is half full. The plastic case expands and causes the rods and the balls to drop out. The ends of each rod should have screws just like fitting together hopper when it arrives.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bang for the Buck poor building instructions, a little ackward to setup, bars at top can get slighly stuck when not slid with perfect tecnique (but is easily overcome with practice). overall a great product for the money but the small amount of ball storage makes this best for beginners.
