Ive had this range finder for two years. It would take me a few tries to get the accurate distance. Now, ive lost total confidence in its accuracy. It reads everything but the flag. Extremely disappointed!!

Didn’t Make The Cut

I bought this 3 weeks ago and have played 10 rounds of golf to get a feel for how well it works. Unfortunately, it takes several tries to get it to give me an accurate reading for distance and I don’t have confidence in it. I do like the slope feature, since I’ve never had that before, but I need confidence that I’m getting an accurate reading the first time. I will be returning this item.

Incorrect Distances

The course I typically play has mostly uphill or downhill greens that can make you hit 1-2 clubs different based on slope. I already had a Bushnell rangefinder, but didn’t have slope on it. Purchased this one mainly due to price and having slope. Not very accurate to say the least. Typically off by 15 yards using slope and non-slope settings. Just to confirm it wasn’t me , I stood on sprinkler head with it reading 132 yards to center of green, with flag in center of green, on a flat shot. I shot 3 times with each rangefinder and these were results: Bushnell gave me 133 yards (all 3 times), Tourtrek gave me 116, 147 and 129 yards with slope function off.

So Far So Good

I have not used the rangefinder on the course yet. The packing was great and the display is very clear. I am excited to use this on the field to get more accurate readings and hopefully result in a few less miss reads.

Broken On 1st Round

I brought this for the price and features; however, I didn't even finish 9 holes before it stopped working. I had my old nikon (20 years old) and swapped batteries. Couldn't get it to restart. I love the features enough to retry. Caution.
