I have had my set several years. Just noticed the plastic material coming off inside of mold adhering to the ice ball. That's a concern. Thin enough to not notice going in the body but does it come out? I will have to retire these molds for health safety reasons. Don't know what manufacturers life expectancy of molds was/is but definitely keep an eye out. The green film on ball was what brought it to my attention.

Makes Solid Ice Balls
These molds make a solid ice ball, but they are not clear and the golf ball ridges are hardly noticed. Good for a sphere ice ball, but not extra perks.
