Plastic Mold Breaking Down
I have had my set several years. Just noticed the plastic material coming off inside of mold adhering to the ice ball. That's a concern. Thin enough to not notice going in the body but does it come out? I will have to retire these molds for health safety reasons. Don't know what manufacturers life expectancy of molds was/is but definitely keep an eye out. The green film on ball was what brought it to my attention.

Makes Solid Ice Balls
These molds make a solid ice ball, but they are not clear and the golf ball ridges are hardly noticed. Good for a sphere ice ball, but not extra perks.

Great Design And Function
these are the second sphereical ice mold ive bought and these are really well done. they are a little bulkier in the freezer but with good trade offs. their filling system prevents overfilling. it also prevents water seeping out as the water freezes and expands. the ice was surprisingly clear for this price point. ice balls are a good size, much larger than actual golf balls. the dimple pattern came out well.

Not As Good As Expected
Well, these certainly make nice round ice cubes for bourbon, but they really don't look much like golf balls. Easy to use, and they work, but I bought them for looking like golf balls, which they don't really.
