Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Snap caps do exactly what they are designed and built to do. I am quite pleased with the 9mm, just as I was with the 223 snap caps.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design, returned product. The plastic "casing" jammed almost every cycle of the slide. Metal version is much much better.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as I assumed Not entirely as I had anticipated. I didn't do much research into them. I had assumed in some way the spring would somehow help to eject the round. It certainly is a good training tool for a feel on the firing pin but annoying with the manual eject/reload. For instruction good for myself I should've read up more on it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Open package I was not sure what to expect But the package of 6 only had 3 in it. I noticed it at the check out and they adjusted the price which was nice. But I don't think it should have been on the shelf as New unopened Unless someone stole them Creepy people

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent training tool Many people probably buy these thinking that dry-firing a pistol is a bad thing. Well, on a center-fired modern action, it's not. Plain and simple. However, that doesn't mean that Snap Caps have no purpose. They are an excellent substitute for live ammunition when teaching someone how to properly handle a firearm. Loading, unloading, proper hold and posture, clearing jams and feed malfunctions, and trigger control. This can't possibly be done as safely with live ammunition. Furthermore, snap-caps are an excellent training tool at the range as well! Sneak one snap-cap somewhere mid-stack in a loaded magazine, and clearly demonstrate how flinch and anticipation ruin accuracy and precision. The shooter will cycle through a few live rounds and then unsuspectingly pull the trigger on the snap-cap, which doesn't go bang of course. If the gun moves AT ALL, it's a clear sign of a deficiency in trigger control, that the operator can actually see first hand.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Snap Caps The snap caps had a tendency to get jammed in the chamber and wouldn't eject properly. If I used just one in the magazine, it worked fine, but multiple caps didn't work as well.
