[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ballnutz were something that I placed on the backburner a while back and didn't really consider to be that useful. However after a good two months of fervently packing the ballnutz for my trad outings. I have noticed that I really would use anything else to protect the thin/flaring cracks of little cottonwood canyon (my home crag) there have been a couple routes where the ballnutz were the only protection that seemed to fit the bill. Would reccomend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was on the fence about getting these because of the mixed opinions and lack of information about ball nuts out there. Any reviews I found online described how amazing they were, yet all of my trad climbing friends said they were "so niche" and "you'll never use them". My take: ball nuts offer bomber pro in the smallest of cracks. I have found a use for them on nearly half the climbs I have been on since getting them and they have saved my butt a number of times. Now all my friends are jealous and are always playing with my BallNutz. You've come this far, just get them already!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ball nuts can fit into those little cracks that my cams don’t really fit in and they are rated to catch lead falls. Just a must have for when you’re in a scary situation on lead.

I'm a big fan of using ball nuts. The smaller sizes are especially useful for tight cracks that are too small for normal cams. I've even used them for clean aid climbing a small crack.
