Purchased this specifically to massage my shins because I am prone to restless leg syndrome. Perfect! I have sensitive shins so I needed it to be soft but firm. I tried another and the rollers were hard plastic. This one is slightly flexible and a dense foam.

Effective Massage Tool For The Money

It Worked On My Knotted Muscle In My Lower Back

I went through physical therapy where they worked out a knotted muscle in my lower back using these metal instruments that look like a butter knife handle. The therapist told me that I would need to stretch a lot to keep it from flaring up. It started knotting up again from some heavy lifting and the TriggerPoint STK Grip Handheld Massage Roller helped get rid of it again. I also use the TriggerPoint STK Contour for lighter pressure. Both work well together.
