I love the design and the weight. A great all around knive. What is not impressive is how dull it actually is out of the box. Opened it washed it and proceeded to cut fresh vegetables and it struggled to get through them. Out for a sharpening as we speak.

I really love it so much. The blade is wide and thick and durable, made from high carbon steel. That makes it easy for cutting, chopping, slicing, or even outdoor activities like camping or hunting. The knife features a sharp edge suitable for precise cutting through meat, fat without tearing or shredding. The handle has a comfortable grip. It comes in with a really nice and neat case . I find it might be a little too heavy and bulky for my wife tho. But so far I use it for almost every thing and still Love it .

I have an array of different tools for cleaning an animal and each one serves a different purpose. What caught my eye about the PrimalForge Cleaver is the ability to cut through small bones and joints. Now it is not hunting season so I haven’t been able to test it on cleaning an animal, but there was a rack of ribs that didn’t stand a chance. For as large as this cleaver is, it cut with precision and ease. It is a heavier knife that seems durable and well constructed. I love that it has a holder so I can just toss it in my hunting bag without worrying about cutting myself. Last, but not least, we can all admit how cool this thing looks!

You’d think a thick blade would limit your fine cutting needs, but the sharpness more than makes up for that. It cleans off easily. The storage sheath that comes with it it helpful. Didn’t expect it to be so big though, but still lovin it.
