I needed to reshaft my Ben Hogan irons and wedges because as I've progressed into my 60s I have lost clubhead speed. I needed a lightweight shaft that is available in regular flex and with a .355" tip. After my local pro put some trials in two of my mid-irons to figure out the best match, I ordered the rest from Dick's online and had the local Dick's clubfitter in Johnson City do the work. It has turned out well and I'm glad I didn't have to get a brand new set.

No Longer A Wedge Between Me And The Green
A tech at Golf Galaxy suggested I swap in steel when I needed a new shaft on my Callaway 60 degree lob wedge. The previous graphite shaft met an untimely demise when it did not perform to standards and I bashed it into the ground - yes, that's true. But the steel shaft is a revelation. I have more control over the club and more confidence in where I'm trying to put the ball.

Broken 6 Iron
I broke my 6 iron at the handle. Brought in and they matched my current shaft with one in stock and had it back to me in a few days. Great customer service!!

Great Shaft, But…….
Lost my Mizuno 7 iron, so I purchased head only online. Took to golf galaxy to have shaft and grip installed, got home and found out shaft was cut 1/2” too short. Immediately took back to golf galaxy, was told it was my fault that I didn’t specify what length to cut it. Simply told them “standard” length. Mizuno pro 225 standard length 37.5”….. got 37” (not happy)
