Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tip Diameter Misleading - It is Inside Diameter, not Outside Diameter I bought this shaft as replacement shaft. Many times after removing a shaft and after cleaning and prepping hole, the hole ends up slightly larger. When I saw this shaft with a .382" tip, I thought - 'great'. It is .012" larger - that should work. BUT NO. The .382" is the INSIDE diameter of the shaft. [The specs DO say .382" ID but I missed that.] It actually has a .410" +-outside diameter. Way to big for what it was intended. A standard .370 shaft tip actually fits inside this one. So - My Mistake - BUYER BEWARE. Other than that, the shaft seems fine.
