Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great racing googles. I have used these goggles for about 2 weeks of swim practice (5 days per week, 2 hour practices) and in 2 meets. So far I love these goggles for racing. The goggles feel great while wearing them because it is much more flexible than more traditional goggles like the vanquishers. They are crystal clear in the water. No water ever enters through the goggles while I swim and they stay on great from start to finish. Heck, they even look cool. However I don't really like them on in practice. They are a little bit to tight for a long practice. I recommend buying these for races and meets, and buying vanquishers for practices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Right Fit I bought these in the small size for my 8 year old son for swim team use. He has deep set eyes and we have trouble finding goggles that maintain a good seal around his eyes. Other goggles were sliding when he dove into the water even with frequent strap adjustment. With the special ops goggles, he just puts them on and can concentrate on the swim. The split strap adjusts easily and stays in place too. It doesn't slide or pull on his hair. The polarized lenses help him to have clear vision in the water. He says that these are the best goggles that he has ever had.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from love them but not perfect. I had these about a month are by far favorite pair I have owned. I love the tent and they are really clear.Clearest I have ever wore. At least until they fog but even then it is not to bad. The package said "embedded anti-fog" which I'm not sure what that means because the 2nd time I wore them they got foggier than jolly old London. Bought some spray and wipe down after each swim as per usual and no real issues now. Still they are somewhat foggy after a 30 minute swim. They fit well and stay in place though I do prefer speedo's adjustment pull tabs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall pretty good I swim in the ocean once to twice per day for an hour each time. I needed goggles with sun protection, a comfortable fit and peripheral vision (mainly to watch for sea life). These googles do an admirable job at all three requirements. They stay in place during rough surf and the occasional rogue wave. I like the polarized lenses for the bright Florida sun and the curved lens does increase the range of vision. I have owned 3-4 pairs over the years. The primary complaint are the small, plastic brackets used to hold the strap adjustments (not associated with the frame). It always breaks after 3-4 weeks of use which requires that you make a knot to keep the silicone straps from becoming undone. It's not the perfect solution (silicone is slippery and difficult to knit) but TYR should replace this inferior plastic piece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Goggles These goggles are extremely comfortable. I swim a little over a 1/2 mile 4 to 6 days a week. At age 63, I am not concerned about the time of laps. I only want to have an enjoyable swim. I have used many different types of goggles over the years, and these are the best. I do use the Speedo anti fogging spray, which does pretty much stops the lens from fogging. The goggles are a little expensive, but they are worth the money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as offered Used this for lap swimming 3 times. The seal, fit and comfort were great. They fogged right away, and were very dark. The vision was not clear. I thought maybe there was a plastic protective film I was supposed to remove....I asked @ store and that was not the case. I tried contacting TYR. It's been 2 weeks and nobody responded, so I guess they don't care.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good pair of goggles I bought this product. The view is good and lets you see all around you. I do not recommend for indoor swimming. The tent is too strong. fogs often, but also depends on the temp of the water. Good Points: stay sealed around eye. Went for a 3000 meter swim and never broke seal. stays tight around the head.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fit Comfortably I am an amateur swimmer who recently picked up freestyle. These goggles do exactly what I need them to do and are very comfortable on my eyes, nose, and head. My only complaint is that they keep fogging up, which is apparently a common problem with most swimming goggles and has plenty of easy, temporary fixes.
