Split Casting 2 Ounce Bucktail

Seemed like a good value 10' surf Rod Combo. I have used Ugly Sticks for years and they have held up well. Had this Rod for 2 months. While casting a 2 ounce Bucktail the rod split just below the joint of the two pieces. The rod is now totally useless. Very disappointed in a brand that I used to have a lot of faith in.

The Way This Was Shipped Was Extremely Poor

The pole got delivered and it looks like it fell off the side of a mountain. The box was completely opened and the wrapping was ripped off. I’m not sure what happened exactly but now I need to check if everything was even delivered or if someone damaged something. I live in a very suburban area so it’s not like a random person comes in contact with it. The pole itself I’m sure is fine, this review is strictly the quality of delivery. 0 stars.

Good Pole

I like the pole but the reel that it comes with feels cheap. I have had a Shakespeare reel before and this one does not feel as strong. The pole is great though.

Quality Has Not Changed In 30 Years!
