The Reel Is What Made This Imperfect

I been wanting the Ugly Stik Carbon for a while, and I was not disappointed by how light it is. Being a two piece, I am surprised by how sensitive it still is. The only reason for 3 stars was the reel that came with it. Being on sale, it was a real good deal, but the reel isn't to my liking. Even the cheaper Lew's Hero combo reel feel smoother on the retrieval.

Good Rod, Nice Action, So-so Value

Rod felt good and has decent action. Not sure the combo is worth the money at this price point. I may elect to buy a rod and reel separately in the future, unless this is on sale.

My Husband Loves This Fishing Pole

I purchased this pole for my 6’3” husband as a Father’s Day gift. He says it is the perfect length for casting and reeling the fish in. Has a comfortable grip too.worth every Penny.
