Purchase Of An Ugly Stick Rod And Reel Also Purchased The Insurance

This has been the worse experience ever. My grandson accidentally drop the rod and reel in the lake. I told him not to worry grandpa has insurance on the rod and reel covering any accidents. YOUR INSURANCE IS A FRAUD !! THEY SAY THEY WILL NOT COVER MY ROD AND REEL !!! PLEASE HELP !!

Bought this rod about two months ago to replace an old one that finally gave up on me, and honestly I've been really happy with it. The action is responsive without being whippy, and the grip feels solid even after a few hours of casting. Took it out for largemouth on a local lake last weekend and landed a 4-pounder without any drama — the rod handled the fight smoothly. A couple of small notes: the reel seat is fine but not premium, and the included rod sock is pretty flimsy (mine started fraying after the third trip). Neither is a dealbreaker at this price point though. Would I buy it again? Yeah, probably. Good entry/mid-level rod for someone who fishes a few times a month and doesn't want to drop $200+. Pairs well with a 2500-size spinning reel.
