For the price they last a season. And frankly as kids grow they will need new pants anyway. The pair we bought last year are being used by a smaller member on the team this year. So with washing and air drying, they hold up. Took off one star because the sizing seems odd. Try them on. But worth the money.

Very See Through...
As far as protection goes, they are great: easy to put on, take off, and tighten, and they fit my kids well. However, the white pairs are absolutely see-through, which is frustrating to figure out; yet one more thing for them to put on for practice. Wearing their baseball sliding shorts underneath seems to help.

The padding lasts about 1 month. Not worth buying. We used UA last year and was great. I assume they had to change the quality of fabric because last year's pair last all season 4 months. We have already been through 3 pair and still have a month left.
