So Sad .. Best Pair Of Cleats So Far But....

"Hi, I purchased a pair for my son, and after just 2 weeks of normal training, they are already tearing. He definitely says that its the best pair of cleats he has worn so far. Given Under Armour's quality standards, I am very disappointed with this defect. Could you please assist me with a replacement pair or a return under warranty?"

Blur Pro Amazing

Best cleats so far. This is my 1st year playing in football cleats and money well spent. My other cleats were for Soccer and it’s a different fit. Playing receiver I get so much grip and traction. Love them.

Too Tight

This cleat was too tight and narrow. My son could not even get them on his feet. I bought his regular size, an 11 mens. I wear an 8 in woman's and could not get my feet into the cleats either. Very odd. Had to return.

Football Cleats

Great cleat! Comfort fit, light weight, and perfect color scheme for our school! My son loves them.

Very Tight

Very tight around the ankle and very hard to put on and it hurts my ankle

Average

Shoes are very hard to get on and take a very long time to break in. The heel and sole are very rigid with not much give. Stomping with heels first actually gave me a lot of discomfort. Also they run big. Did 3 cuts on turf where there was no traction if you spin to change directions.

Good Looking And Comfortable To Wear

These shoes had a nice simple style and were more comfortable than our last pair of Nikes. They held up well this look past lacrosse season.

Great Cleat!

I bought this for my son who is a senior and the pink is so bright. He loves it, says it's a very comfortable cleat and he will wear it all season.

Missed Potential

With one or two tweaks to this recipe, UA could have a real winner on their hands. I haven't tried on the new version of this cleat, but based on photos and description, everything I have to say about this version will hold true to the updated one (it really just looks like the upper and collar were changed). To start with what I like: - The upper is pliable and provides good containment. - The soleplate provides aggressive traction for both straight line speed and change of direction. The stud layout is one of my favorites from the many football cleats I have worn in the past 10 years. - Good lockdown in the heel. I didn't notice any slipping or rubbing on the achilles. Now onto the things holding this cleat back: - I would be pleased with the HOVR midsole if it weren't for two glaring issues in my opinion. Those being: 1. The midsole is drop-in, and you're sitting right on top of it when you have the cleats on. It's a substantial amount of foam. Due to these facts, the midsole bottoms out with all the cutting one does. This changes the internal volume of the cleats once the foam compresses, ultimately making the fit a bit sloppier. 2. Continuing with the topic of the midsole, and the most frustrating aspect of the cleat... There is a lump of the midsole that fits into a transparent window under your heel, so that you can see it says HOVR through the soleplate. In concept... sure, I suppose companies should advertise the tech they incorporate in their products. In execution, it feels like no forethought went in to how this performs as a piece of athletic equipment. Because the midsole compresses so much, it ends up tearing where this lump connects to the rest of the midsole. And without even lasting a training season, these proprietary midsoles that you can't get replacements of have both thinned out and torn right underneath my heel, all so that people can know my cleats have HOVR in them... except nobody is realistically ever going to see that window on the soleplate unless they're holding the cleats and inspecting them. - A pull tab at the top of the foot to go along with the one on the heel would be a welcome addition, but it's not a deal breaker. At the end of the day, it feels like these cleats are suffering a bit of an identity crisis. On one hand, the sole plate is snappy and responsive, which compliments the aggressive stud pattern nicely. But on the other hand, the plushness of the midsole completely undoes the responsive and fast sensation. It honestly feels like pushing off in wet sand sometimes. UA should either go all in on comfort and soften up the sole plate to match the softness of the midsole (which I don't think is in line with the description of the product), or reduce the amount of foam so that we can actually appreciate the springiness of the soleplate (maybe even nix the drop-in midsole altogether and go for a simple insole). Either way, Under Armour, please get rid of that lump in the misdole for the "vanity window" in the soleplate.

Good Cleat. Really Snug

My son is a DB and likes them. They are a little tight getting on due to the material around the ankle but once on, he says they are comfortable.

Slick Nice Cleat

Although this cleat is slick and great looking, my son found it hard to get his foot in as it has added cushioning around the top of the heel causing the opening to become too narrow and difficult to get his foot in. We bought the Blur Suede Pro ones before these ones and they were great!

Extremely narrow

Narrow Feet

They are extremely narrow. My son does not have a wide foot and the cleats are so incredibly tight. He could barely squeeze his foot in them and tried to break them in and it's was basically a total waste of money.
