For my experience these run true to size. The material is nice and thick compared to other brands I've tried for my daughter (10 year old). The elastic cuffs were comfortable and not too tight.

These pants are great. They do fit on the larger size. We had to return for a smaller size so be sure to go by sizing chart and measurements. Return was super simple and free.
