Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Boot, Some Room to Improve I bought these boots for elk and deer hunting this year and like them overall. I had to go up one half size compared to my Danner work boots. So far in 10 days of hunting I have covered well over 60 miles in these boots. They seem to be holding up well. The biggest issue I have is sound. If I tighten the boots to a comfortable level they squeak. Loud enough to jump a buck. If I loosen them they don't squeak but then I get a killer blister on my heel. The squeak might have something to do with the dusty environment I hunt in. However, they did it when new and have not improved though break in. I hope UA can do something to improve this issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can't wait until... They have to come out with a few more color scheme. Maybe some Black on black, Purple and Black (Go Ravens) or maybe some Navy Blue and Gold (go Navy). I must say, the first day, I was taken aback by the rolling fit of the fat soles, but ones you steady your walk/run/jog, your legs-especially the calves, receive an awesome workout. I have actually had to explain to people that these shoes are not Jordan's, have to lift my pant leg up to display the UA emblem. Now, if I can just only get me some stock...because I have actually been one of the first few to test run a lot of UA's new items. Just kidding, love the Fats, just waiting on another color. GET THIS SHOE, it does not disappoint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Winter/Rain Boot/Sneaker! Used this ever since snow has arrived. GoreTex indeed, no more wet feet! Very comfortable (Most of the time, read below). Yes, need 1 size bigger, especially you have wide feet! I wear size 10, and now I am wearing size 11 in this shoe. At times, I wear them without the locking system, and the shoe still fit, and only feel somewhat loose. Think of it as wearing the Nike Foamposite without the laces. Maybe because of my wide feet, most of the cushioning is in the middle of my feet, so, if i do stand on my feet for a long time, it starts to be not as comfortable. That could only because I am on the heavy side. But overall, wear this during snow and rain, and it be the perfect shoe!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If you have wide feet avoid at all costs I own two pairs, the all black version and the black indigo sole with orange logo version. The last one I currently wear. Sad experience really. Paid top dollar for two pairs of a boot that everybody is raving about, in the length fits perfectly but when it comes to the width is a very painful disappointment. Painful as in "can't walk more then a mile before the front part of my feet really hurts and I need to take the boots off. So if you plan on buying these shoes and like me have Judo feet (a lot of standing on the front part of your feet) avoid these narrow boots at all costs. Buying a bigger size won't help you, the shoes still run very narrow and stiff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most comfortable shoes I've ever owned I bought my first pair of these about 10 months ago and am happy to buy another now that they've come out in all black. I was skeptical but tried them on and although the most expensive shoes I own, I hope they never stop making them. I may buy a few more pair just in case. They run very small. I normally take a size 9.5 US and they are snug on my toe at 10.5, so I ordered 11's as my second pair. With the lacing mechanism, it should be fine (sooo comfortable!). I never write reviews but this product was so unexpectedly good, I feel compelled to let UA know. They're like pillows for my feet!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Boot, but Loud! I've worn these boots about 3 days since I got them and they feel great, and stay dry. Boa system is very cool and easy to use. They do run a little small, I assume because of the added Gore Tex membrane that my UA Fat Tire Low shoes don't have (they are also a size 12 and fit perfectly). The biggest feedback, and most annoying thing about these is they squeak terribly, and pretty loud. Definitely cannot go hunting in them where silence is necessary as I can't even move my toes without making noise. Shouldn't happen for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding I got these boots early this spring and since then have worn them on 34 mornings gobbler hunting and guiding. Put on between 3 and 5 miles each morning. I was especially tuned into listening for "squeaks" based on the previous feedback. At about the 2 week mark I thought that I may have heard a low squeak so i applied a thin film of mineral oil to the tongue/upper contact area. Never heard a thing again. They are light, comfortable, waterproof, and quiet underfoot. These are great boots. They do run small. I ordered 1 size up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best boots for me! Best boots I've ever worn. Having survived on Hokas after an Achilles tendon tear, I needed something burlier to get out on the trail in addition to the cushion and comfort to which I'm now addicted. I found the Fat Tires better in griping, breathability, odor containment, cushioning, and lacing than any I've previously owned. The curved sole even makes it easier to do sloped terrane, and they remained waterproof while standing in water. The anti-fungal fibers are an added plus. Although, I probably wouldn't have bought them without the Boas. After returning the initial pair for one a half size larger, they've been a constant wear, even indoors. I'm looking forward to picking up the Lows.
