The Phone Pocket Is In The Wrong Place

My other running shorts were wearing a little thin. I went on the Dick's website and looked at the shorts and knew that I preferred the 5 inch length. I also knew that I needed the liner because my inner thighs will chafe something fierce if I don't do that. I run with my phone and earbuds. I could just run with my watch and earbuds but usually don't do that. The pocket has another pocket sewn into it for securing your phone. It is a poor design. At a steady rhythm that doesn't involve to much pushing or sprinting, the phone has acceptable movement but when you start to boogie on down the road the phone starts to rock out of rhythm and sway. Hugely annoying. Better to have the phone pocket sewn into the liner because it stays relatively fixed to your leg. I would rather deal with the slight abrasion on the thigh skin than the rocking of the phone.

These are some of my son's favorite shorts - very comfortable and wash well time after time! The inside liner fits just right and stretchy, the outer material is lightweight and dries quickly.

Size True To Description, Fits Well

Flows In The Breeze!

I really like these. They are very light material, and feel as if you’re wearing very little. The leg lining could be slightly tighter, but, again, they feel wonderful. I have bought another pair before purchasing this different color. I plan to use these for biking, walking, and possibly hiking. They “run” just a bit small in the waist. I ordered a large, which I usually wear, but returned for the XL. My waist is a 35-36.
