Ok But A Design Flaw
This UA base is pretty thick for a base layer and does provide decent warmth. However, it fails in providing enough warmth in extreme cold especially when wind is involved. The problem with it is the neck and chest is sized disproportionally loose vs (zero compression) the rest of the areas on the body. In other words the loose areas on the neck and chest allows the cold to easily enter your core...I am no stranger to UA base layers I purchased my first 25 years ago the original cold gear which I still have, and recently purchased 3 more of the originals now they are re-offered after all these years...But this UA Base 4.0 fails far short of its intended purpose and price twice as much as the Original Cold gear...Not a fan of this offering.

High Quality, Extremely Warm.
If you need a high-performance base layer for extreme cold, the UA Base 4.0 ¼ Zip is one of the best options out there. Just bought my second one.
