Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I was hoping Hi, First let me say that UA delivery was very fast. I was very happy to see the box. However, when I opened it and try the shoes I was a bit disappointed. I was thinking it was like the Valsetz but these are high tops and the tongue is attached to the sides making it harder to put then on. This shoes remind me of the Original Swat, which my agency gets used at an extremely overprice but really cheap boots. So, I will exchange them and get the Valsetz that are extremely comfortable, but UA needs to correct the problem the shoes (Valsetz) on the inside part at the start of the toes usually becomes unglued.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Option For Duty Boots Purchased these as a replacement for my UA Valsetz that were not holding up at all. Definitely more "boot like" than the Valsetz, both for good and bad. Doesn't have the super lightweight, flexibility, and running shoe comfort of the Valsetz, but much more solid, better toe protection, better ankle support. Leather seems supple but sturdy, and easy to polish and maintain. A little tight slipping my foot in, but once it's in, these boots are good to go for a 12 hour shift. If they hold up well, will purchase another pair. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Squeaky Bought these about a month ago and have been wearing them 12 hours a day for Leo work. About 3 weeks in the sole started squeaking while walking on the arch area. Talked to others wearing them and they experienced the same thing. They are more comfortable than my valsetz were but had the same squeaking problem with those too. For some reason ua decided to glue the insole in the stellars so you can't change then, pretty stupid if you ask me as the factory insoles are cheap and don't offer any support. Price was good and true to size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Corrections Tested, Corrections Proven I have had these boots for all of four days. I would like to run down the pros and cons of these boots and will review more at a later date. Cons: although the right size, they are an extreme struggle to put on (tight) Also the laces that come with them become loose throughout the working day. Pros: extreme comfort. Lightweight Great quality To be honest I have never responded so fast to situations throughout the prison before. I almost bought the valsetz but they aren't exactly water proof. I'm extremely satisfied by choosing these. I wish I had these while I was in the service.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Side zip Side zip change the laces and soften the Achilles upper area. Can't go bad at this price . I usually try to change my work boots yearly and at this cost it's not bad . Just needs a few improvements as mentioned. Size and comfort seem fine. I wear 11.5 to 12 but always go with the bigger size for work boots and they fit fine. But I'm guessing a side zip will increase the cost so I can live without that. Just improve the laces. The quality seems to be there so will see how long I get out of a pair. Will see how long that sneaker like comfort last in the soles. Hopefully these stay around and are improved but knowing ua they will discontinue them. Been wearing these about two weeks and they seem to be holding up ok.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good Features, kinda Being a Police Officer and on my feet 12-14 hours a day I have battled with finding an affordable good boot that will polish. I buy a new pair once a year. I just bought the UA Stellar in hopes of getting a comfortable boot AND a tough boot. What ive found after only 2 weeks is these boots are comfortable BUT they are a pain in the tail to put on and lace up. I wish there were a side zipper. The laces seem to come undone throughout my shift. I will give props to UA because they are comfortable and light weight. Just in my opinion need to have a side zipper and work on the laces and lace eyes. Only time will tell if they hold up to heat, dirt, sand and just plain wearing them daily.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Boots just started to fail I have had these boots for just under a year and the plastic loop holes are starting to pop out when I tighten the boots. These boots were very comfortable and working in Corrections where I am mostly on my feet for the day, these boots were just what I needed. The laces that came with the boot were not of the greatest of quality. A single knot would not stay done up and I would be constantly having to tie them up. A double knot would do the trick but after a 12hr+ shift coming home and having to deal with a double knot got tiring. It was just better to replace the laces.
