Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the same material or feel I agree with the other poster about UA Tech not having the same fit and feel. I have 12-14 UA tech t-shirts bought between 2008-2011 and love them. I got some tactical t-shirts and some regular UA Tech ones. All about the same fit and material feel. They get a lot of use and although the material is getting thin now, I still use them almost daily. The new design/material started coming out after 2012 or so? Do not like it at all. Feels way more synthetic then that older material and not comfortable. Charged cotton feels better, but really want the old UA Tech back. Any chance of this UA? Why did the material change? Can customers still find the old stuff?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is NOT the original UA Tactical Tech The original Under Armour UA Tactical Tech (circa 2010-2011) was probably the best under shirt I have ever owned. After 5 years I finally ordered replacements, and the new design is NOTHING like the original. The original had more of a stretchy natural cotton feel compared to the new design which feels like a cheap lightweight silk. The new fit is tighter in the arms, chest, and shoulders too. The original design was very popular with all branches of the military. I have no idea why they would completely change their design when no one was asking for it to change. Please go back to the original design before the rest of my shirts wear out. The "new" UA Tactical Tech is inferior garbage. I have also uploaded pictures of the original shirt.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great but no tall sizes :( These shirts are awesome, they keep me cool and dry. The shirts look way cooler than a normal cotton t-shirt. I also like the subdued UA logo on them, the logo is noticeable if you look for it, and does not stick out obnoxiously like a normal logo. The only problem I have is that these shirts do not come in tall sizes that would fit my long torso better, are you telling me that the athletes, soldiers and police that wear these shirts don't need a tall size?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Can't help compare with original UA tact tech Pros: loose, understated with no large UA symbols, soft, plain earthy colors Cons: synthetic plastic feel, does not breath well, unflattering drape off body Overall this tee is okay, but if you wore the original UA tactical tech, you would know this product is now inferior. At best it's average with the rest of the market, not innovative at all. Size down. What happened to the UA 'feels like cotton'??? I will purchase again if UA returns to the original material/cut.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cotton-like feel to the fabric The material of this shirt has a softer cotton-like feel than any of my other performance shirts. The only downside of this seems to be that in extremely hot and humid weather (like summers here in South Florida) the shirt holds a LOT of moisture, almost like a cotton shirt. However, in dryer weather (60% humidity and 75 degrees F today) the shirt works beautifully, wicking away moisture and drying almost as quickly as any of my other shirts. But, this shirt has the added bonus of that cotton-like softness. I like the fact that the reflective logos on the shirt are subtle, and I don't feel like a running advertisement for the company. I cannot attest to the durability of the shirt, because I have not had it for very long. But, I have noticed no pilling nor pulls in the material so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Recommend! I bought one of these shirts a year ago at the PX here on base, I figured I'd give it a try as I was getting bad heat rash from the standard issue tan tops, Anyways, I now own fourteen of these shirts because they are great for tactical wear. The do not cause the heat rash from abrasive shoulder seams, they wick away moisture, and under the occasion that they do get drenched in sweat, they tend to dry VERY quickly. I recommend, not one of these, but buying several, because you WILL want one for every day of the week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Need Coyote Brown NOW Shirt is great. I have four that are now the wrong color since the Army changed from ACU to OCP. Please produce a Tan 499 or Coyote Brown now. I'd buy five today. (The current brown is not the brown I'm talking about). Thanks!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shirt, BUT... I ordered a bunch of these shirts last year and loved them. They were lightweight, comfortable and did a great job of wicking away moisture. I recently ordered some more in OD green and found that Under Armour changed the material to some awful glossy, disco-sheen OD. Not only that, the sizing is not the same. I wore a medium in the older shirt but now have to wear a large. Under Armour...why did you change a good thing?
