The caveat is I normally wear barefoot style shoes with little support, cushion, and a wide toe box, but I have been looking for something with more structure and a slightly raised heel for squats. I’ve been eyeing these and finally decided to pull the trigger. While I did get my support on the sides of the shoe, the bottom of my foot hurts on and off for the first 10 minutes of wearing since I’m used to barefoot shoes. Eventually it subsides and I’m good to go. The toe box is not as narrow as most shoes so you do get some wiggle room. I like a stiffer midsole personally, but I could see these being well liked.
