Rated 2 out of 5 by from Comfort = A+, Quality = fail I purchased these boots for work. First thing is they are super comfortable and light weight! They do run a little big. I'm usually a 9.5 but these valsetz in size 9 were perfect for me. Now, as for the quality, they are horrible! On the 2nd day of wearing these boots they ripped! I took them off and when I went to put them back on, I pulled on the loop in the back.... they ripped! (See attached pictures.) I'm very dissapointed in the quality of these. I thought under armour would have way better quality than what I've experienced. I own A lot of other UA products and I'm happy with them but definitely not these boots.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from caution I received these boots as a Xmas present 3 months ago. First let me say they are the most comfortable boots I have worn for duty in the last 17 years. The issue I have had is that loop you hold on to in the back while putting your boots on is not durable. While putting my boots on this morning the loop tore off leaving a hole in the back of my boot. I rotate my boots every few days so they have not had a lot of use. I also do not wear my boots tight so they are easy on and off no reason the loop shouldn't have held up. I have probably owned 30 duty boots in the last 17 years and never had this happen with any other boot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Excellent comfort, poor quality Like many of the other reviews, I work in law enforcement and absolutely love how comfortable these are. They feel like wearing a regular running sneaker; however, after about a month of regular wear, the shoes began to come apart. The upper ankle support around the Achilles tendon began to break apart and became very uncomfortable because it was digging into my heels. The tab that assists with putting the boot on ripped off about two weeks into using them. I'm in the process of getting a new pair now through UA's customer service (which has been excellent so far), I just wish for the shoe to be a lot more durable and it would be amazing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Expected more I work in Public Safety in the UA hometown. I have spent years wearing PRO Warrington or Die Hard shoes to work. I decided that I'd give UA a shot. At first I was very pleased with the boot. It felt like wearing a sneaker to work with the added ankle support. But then the problems started. The rubber on the side started to crack, one of the pull on tabs came off about 3 weeks in. I noticed that it became uncomfortable to stand for long periods of time while wearing the boots. It was disappointing. I've considered buying another boot from UA, but as quickly as these have lost their luster...I'm a bit hesitant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the most comfortable boot I have ever worn! I am a Fire Department Battalion Chief, I bought 2 pair of these, about 6-8 months ago. A black pair for work, and a tan pair for home. They are, by far, the most comfortable boot I have ever purchased. The tan pair have some holes on the outside, but, I have put them through some rigorous work around the house and yard. The black pair that I wear at work, have been on fire scenes, medical scenes, and general work around the station. I wear these boots about 18 hours a day while on-duty. Keep in mind, there are occasional changes of socks and foot powder, but, they continue to please my feet! Under Armour - PLEASE, PLEASE do not discontinue or change these boots in any way!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Boots I wear these boots for work in law enforcement, as well as everyday. They are so very, very comfortable, I don't even know where to start! In the cold (with good socks) my feet stay warm. In the heat, they're not sweating. I can be on them all day and my feet are the last thing to get sore. The ankle is so well supported, I never worry about rolling or twisting, and the side-zip makes it easy to tie the laces right once and not worry about it again. I would love to see them designed to hold a boot knife like my 5.11 SidePick, but that doesn't take away just how outstanding of a product this is. Thank you for this wonderful duty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Quality I purchased these boots in August of 2015 thinking they were the same quality as the original Valsetz tactical side zip boots which actually had very aggressive tread and leather. Way wrong. They are falling apart after 3 months. Where the boots bend when you walk has the "painted" thin coating of vinyl that covers the canvas peeling and cracking. Also yesterday after noticing a big hole in the heel of my socks I inspected the inside and noticed the right heel has worn through and sharp edges of plastic have broken away and thats cutting my socks. On a positive note, the customer service is top notch and they are mailing me a replacement pair. We will see if these are just defective or if its a poor design.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would not recommend I purchased these boots in July when I started a new job. I'm in transport and only work Monday thru Friday, eight hour shifts. Not much walking around. Within two to three months the soles were coming unglued and the boot became uncomfortable. My feet started hurting and I went back to an old pair of boots. For the money I spent I was very dissatisfied with them. I have a lot of people that have the old ua boots and we're happy with them. But with these there are a few of us that have the same issue. I have told people to save there money and not purchase these.
