Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice & Comfortable! I've had these since Spring of 2016 & wore them during hot days, rainy days & cooler days. Fabric is military style rip-stop! Which is a plus in my book! Fit is very similar to Loose fit jeans, they are cargo pants after all! The elastic "strap" inside the cargo pockets helps secure a wallet or cell-phone so it's not moving around in there while in motion. These pants breathe and were never too hot during the hot summer days. The waistband is one of the most comfortable with a little give! The waist closure is a jean type of fastener. It could be improved by having an "Italian snap"! All in all a great pant for the active man, with comfort in mind! Semper Fi!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tactical Pants Theirs been a epidemic of "SKIN JEANS", which has created alot of difficulty for me too find jeans too wear on the regular outside of working jeans. Well, I'm very pleased to type, these pants are the most comfortable pants I've have ever wore. They fit me perfect. (36 30)The pants are very well made, light, functional, & stylish. I will admit, I was skeptical about the crotch area, riding up & being tight. More specifically, when sitting down & bending over. Well, my concerns are over. WOW... phenomenal pants indeed. Within the next 1-2 months, I will have every color. UA, awesome job on these pants. I've been a wearing UA since 2004!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tactical Patrol pants Pants fit well and are comfortable to wear, but the front pocket are much shallower than the previous Duty Pants (2 1/2" shallower). The pockets are not deep enough for my knife to clip on and stay straight up and down it must go at an angle. Same knife I have carried for 8 years and never found any other pants that it will not fit into pocket along edge straight up and down. Also because of the pockets being too shallow my keys and change fall out when running the Bobcat or tractor, sometimes even in the truck. As a contractor I have keys for equipment and tool boxes with me and can't risk them falling out and getting lost. If you are used to having keys and a knife in your front pockets without them falling out running equipment stay away from these pants until they redesign the pockets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most comfortable "tactical" pant Ive worn, but... This pant is extremely comfortable. The fit is loose and full which is right for the role but it could use a few tweaks. First would be deeper front pockets and a thicker material as well. This would allow for a backup gun (typically a J frame) to fit nicely inside there and not be partially exposed. Also the elastic on the right pocket is on the right track but it needs a slightly deeper edge and a squared off line so a clip on knife will fit and run vertically instead of at an angle. Lastly a gussetted crotch would increase the comfort in that area and prevent a tear which is where these types of pants typically "blowout". Saying all that I would still buy these over the 5.11 or Vertyx pant and I am very happy with mine!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as Tactical as I Need them to be In my field, I require great black pants. In fact the previous version of the tactical black pants from 2017 were those pants. This year’s model- nope. The front pockets are not flat front and not deep, so, everything you put in falls out or hangs out. The back pockets, whilst convenient, are also too shallow. Phone fall out, note pads fall out or hang out. Not convenient. The side pockets, while great with the mag elastic inside, are also shallow. The fit of the pants are also different. They do not ride as high, and, as a result, fall down frequently, and feel as if these would be more characteristic for a “plumber”, as bits of my backside are exposed. The pants are of a solid construction, but wear faster that the previous model. I do like the improvement on the belt loops, making it easier for me to switch belts easily. The length is good and the zipper is ok, despite being a large tooth plastic variety. I’m hoping it continues to hold with age and not fail as most plastic tooth zippers do, causing less than tactical exposures.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pockets way too small Pants fit and look great, but terrible in terms of functionality. Everywhere I sit, loose change falls out of the pockets. It's actually sort of funny, tactical pants...but your tactical stuff is laying on the ground somewhere behind you. :-) I am not sure whether I like the buttons on all the pockets, jury still out on that one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as good as original design A few years ago I tried UA's tactical pants and fell in love with them. Started buying them over 511. The original style# 1230536. Recently ordered another pair and was disappointed that UA has changed these pants. Cargo pockets are now hidden button instead of velcro. Material is not as comfortable, and contributes to static cling. Overall fit is not as relaxed. I understand that some of these issues are personal preference, but I feel the product took a step backwards. Looks like I am going back to 511.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Storm Tactical Patrol Pants It's great that they are storm pants. However the front pockets are too small. I am afraid that what ever I put into the front pockets will fall out. I had to take them to a Taylor and the pockets made larger.
