Rated 2 out of 5 by Momtoo2 from Uncomfortable I love that UA put better hip pads in these pants and also put the thigh pads and knee pads in separate pockets but unfortunately that’s it. The material isn’t as stretchy or as soft as the UA football pants from years prior and the knee pads are huge and don’t form to the knee like before (my son said the pants are really uncomfortable)... My son rather wear his old UA football pants that are all ripped up instead of these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by TanyaL from Ripped Knee These are a great fit, but only lasted 6 weeks before one of the knees ripped open. Hasn't even played a game yet, only 2 practices per week so far. There is also a small hole starting on the thigh pad as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Robdoe from Stitching is poor. Doesn’t hold up These pants have a good fit for my 8yr old however the stitching doesn’t hold up. The stitching came loose at the knee pad and I noticed poor stitching on several other areas. Shame cause my son likes the way they fit. I just returned them and grabbed the another pair. I noticed poor stitching on that pair also. Lets see how long the stitching stays together. I don’t think they will hold up for an entire season.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ccnic from Poor stitching quality I bought a pair of YXL for my son as practice pants. After two practices, I washed them and hung to dry. The stitch unraveled in several places. As I attempted to repair them (I don’t live close to the store and he needed them for practice), I noticed stitching deficiencies in other areas that haven’t fallen apart yet. If they’ll actually stay together, my son likes the feel and fit....I’m not hopeful.

The knee pads are square instead of rounded and stick way out, which makes them uncomfortable and odd looking. The knee pads used to be more rounded and hugged the knee, which was much better. We ended up finding Adidas pants elsewhere with the correct pads. The pants would be perfect if this issue is addressed.

No holes or stains thus far and they have been worn! True to size. Buckle is great for kids. Easy to slip on over the under armor leggings we also bought and plenty of side room to tuck in the jerseys.
