Great Shoe Size Up

I’ve warned these as an everyday shoe for work for a while now. Overall, I am happy with this shoe. They do run small though. I normally wear a 12 or 12 1/2 in Nike and had to order a 13 in these.

V Is For Vibrant!🧡

The Hot Coral color is divine! I did size up a half size, especially for a thicker sock because the toebox is pretty inflexible. Its definitely a very cool looking casual hiker and something different from Vans. Not sure how comfy they'll be for a super long wear but high points for style.

I Would Definitely Recommend These For The Outdoorsy Folks

I go hiking in these shoes every week. They are very comfortable, I feel they grip the terrain very well, and just overall the best hiking shoe I've ever used

Removed A Star For Having To Re-write.

TL:DR are-writing cause I referenced price. Good pair of shoes, but not sure if they are almost price good. Definitely a must cop on a sale though. The full review: Bought these to replace an old pair of shoes that lasted me two years of almost daily use. When speaking with the person in the Vans store, they assured me that these things would more than likely last me beyond that. I tried them on and instantly fell in love with how they felt and the person telling me they were water proof. Between the comfort, the water proof claim, and the deep tread, they were a no brainer for me using them as everyday and fishing shoes. Figured for the price of these, I should leave a review for those interested. The Fit: These things are surprisingly comfortable. I have a wide foot and was concerned that these would be an issue like many pairs I have tried. However these were nice and roomy and did not require much of a break in period. "Waterproof": So I am not sure if this is an issue just with my pair, but my right shoe definitely does not seem to be waterproof. There have been a few times where when i was fishing, I had water go just past the midsole and the right foot definitely felt like there was some moisture that got through. Same thing happened when I cleaned them after cutting the grass in them. Taking a wet paper towel to the outside of the shoe (while I was wearing them) and it got noticeably cooler and that side of my sock had signs of moisture. I have not noticed this on my left shoe, that or it is drastically less noticeable for some reason. I would be curious if I had the same issue with another pair, but definitely not dropping another amount of money to test that. Warmer Weather Wear: I have worn them almost every day since I picked them up for walks, working out, fishing, etc. One thing that I will call out is based on the material, they warm up QUICK if you are in direct sunlight. Obvious issue with solid black shoes, but definitely hotter than other pairs I have had. Tread: It's holding up well. Considering how much walking I have done in them on various terrain, they have held up really well. BUT there is now a pretty noticeable squeaking from the left shoe that started three months in. There are no signs of wear, and it doesn't sound like it's from inside the shoe. And the squeak is there regardless of what I am walking on. Concrete, gravel, cobble stone, carpet, grass, dirt, etc. Overall Durability: So far I have been impressed with how they have held up to everything I have thrown at em. Even if they don't seem to be as waterproof as I was informed, they are taking a beating and still look like when I bought them. Just dirtier.

One Of The Best Shoes I've Ever Purchased

Soooo comfortable, supportive and durable. I love the gortex souls. It will be hard pressed for me to stay to another brand I bought another pair in a different color

Unquestionably The Most Comfortable Shoe I Have Ever Purchas

This is my second pair and I will tell you it is not for the weak of heart. If you are into pushing the limits and going all out this is the one. Hardly any break in on it and it is ready to be out in the Gnar immediately. Highly recommend!

Great All Terrain

They are so comfortable and water proof. I love how rugged they are but very comfy. I could wear these all day! No need to break them in.

Not Waterproof

Unfortunately, the shoes are not waterproof as advertised. I wear them both on hikes and for work, feet always end up wet. Second time I've tried gortex shoes/ boots from vans and both times I've been disappointed. Wouldn't recommend. From B.C. 🇨🇦

Great Work Shoe

I was hesitant on these shoes but I wanted Vans for work. I'm happy with this purchase, took a few times to wear them in but I love them. Water proof and good traction. Very happy with these shoes.

Sweepstakes #150 One Of The Best Vans Shoes Ever Made

The Vans Crosspath XC GORE-TEX is easily one of the most versatile pairs of Vans I've owned. It takes the classic Vans style and upgrades it with serious outdoor performance. If you want a sneaker that can handle everyday wear, rough weather, and long days on your feet—this is it. The GORE-TEX upper keeps your feet dry without feeling bulky, and it still breathes surprisingly well for a waterproof shoe. I've worn these in rain and wet conditions and they held up perfectly. The Vibram XS Trek Evo outsole is another standout feature—it provides excellent grip on pavement, trails, and slick surfaces, which makes the shoe feel much more capable than a typical lifestyle sneaker. Comfort-wise, the UltraCush EVA midsole gives solid cushioning and support for all-day wear. They feel stable and durable but still lightweight enough to wear casually. The speed-lace system is also a great touch—quick to tighten and adjust without constantly retying your shoes. What I love most is how they blend function and style. They look good enough to wear around town but are rugged enough for light hiking, travel, or unpredictable weather. Vans really nailed the balance between streetwear and outdoor performance with this design. If you want a sneaker that can handle rain, travel, and everyday life while still looking clean, the Crosspath XC GORE-TEX is absolutely worth it. It's one of the most capable and comfortable Vans I've worn—and easily one of their best designs yet.

Disappointed With The Waterproofing

I purchased the Crosspath XC GORE-TEX Shoe specifically for its advertised features: All-Terrain durability, Vibram sole, Easy-On design, Waterproof protection, and Cushioning. Based on these claims and my research into reviews, I expected reliable performance in demanding conditions. I work as a Ground Service Agent, and during a rainy shift on the ramp in Seattle, these shoes completely failed me. Despite being marketed as waterproof, my shoes, socks, and feet were fully soaked. This is unacceptable given the nature of my job and the conditions these shoes are clearly meant to withstand. The situation became so bad that I had to remove the shoes to dry them because I could not continue working while soaked. I was forced to switch to a different pair of shoes just to finish my shift. This product did not just underperform — it actively interfered with my ability to do my job. I chose this shoe because I trusted the GORE-TEX and all-terrain claims. Instead, I was left cold, uncomfortable, and extremely disappointed. The product did not meet the basic expectations set by its description or reputation. This experience has seriously undermined my confidence in this shoe and in the claims made about its performance.

Vibram Soles Arent What They Used To Be!

This shoe is good for 2-3 hikes, 15-20 miles and pieces started to fall off and i was left with foam to protect my foot from the trail. Huge disappointment from both vans and vibram
