I bought these shoes a couple of months ago. Great hiking shoes.

Cut Open Box, Cuts All Over Box, Poor Shipping

The shoes "look" great. However, the box is awful. The Vans show box from the store has no lid and has obviously been box cut off. I say obvious because there are box cuts all over the rest of the shoe box. I am less than happy about my first experience with Dicks sporting goods. Not the tone to set for customers at Christmas, especially first time ones. I will try in store next time. Hopefully this was a "one off" situation with shipping.
