Exactly What It Says

This new take on the half cab is really cool, always liked a slimmer shoe for board feel, while this is a deconstructed cab I feel it still offers stability and comfort as it is not flappy and thin but slight padding instead of it's original design. This did not take over the original half cabs, still have options for both styles. Really nice take on the half cabs!

They're Ok

I would actually go a half size down or add insoles. I know they're "decons" and I didn't know the insole was just the regular Vans insole and not the one they usually use in the skate line. They fit a little loose. Other than that they're fine. Just looser than the regular half cabs because they don't have the padding around the ankle or in the tongue. Definitely light and same good grip.

They Changed The Shoe Design.

I've been ordering half cabs for my son every year. This year 2025 they have changed the design. The shoe around the heel is thin like converse and not reinforced with some cushion anymore. Just thin and flappy with no support. We're very disappointed in the change. Less shoe for the same price.
