Designed by Mr. Ice Fishing Dave Genz, the Vexilar® FL-8SE Genz Ice Pack combines the classic FL-8SE ® flasher with the rugged Blue Box, creating a solid mount for a versatile flasher. The box is outfitted with a battery storage compartment and universal transducer holder, and it fits perfectly on a five gallon bucket. The FL-8SE® flasher offers easy-to-use controls with the hallmark 3-color display to help you spot your target.

Great Product And Fun To Use!

I bought this almost a month ago. I have used every time that I have gone out. I don't know why I ever tried ice fishing with out this Vexilar FL-8SE Genz Ice Pack. It really works well! I Love It!!!

Exactly As Described

I bought this item on Friday and fished with it on Saturday. What a blast! Does exactly what the manufacturer says it will do. I was seeing and catching fish on a new lake in 18' of water, tough to do when you're not relating to any visible structure. I caught fish on the bottom and pulled bait up to catch suspended fish that I never would have known we're there. Worth every penny!

This flasher is a fantastic flasher. It functions great and, while it may be on the pricey side, does the job well. The first time I took it out I caught a slab crappie! The only thing is that dicks doesn't sell the soft pack, which bums me out because I now have to drive 30 minutes to the closest cabelas.

Everything ya need. Only downside is no bottom or auto zoom.

Dvd And Instrcution Book Missing

While I haven't used this product yet, I'm confident that it should work fine based on previous reviews. However I was disappointed that the instructional DVD was not included. I called to request one but customer service first wanted me to return the order and send me a new Vexilar. I responded that all I need is the DVD and it's a waste of resources to return the parcel. I was promised that a DVD will be sent in 3 to 5 business days from my call. I am still waiting.Recommendation based on use of another Vexilar

Great Product, Great Price

After being out fished enough times in ice fishing by people who had a Vexilar I decided I needed one. After using it the first time I know why I was out fished! It comes with instructional DVDs that clearly show how to use it and it is quite simple. I caught 25 perch first time out while people around me caught 4-5 each. Dick's had the best price from a reputable dealer and service was awesome. I kick myself for not buying a Vexilar sooner and I would certainly buy from Dick's again
