I'm 6'2" 220lbs and bought this one after I returned a Pelican Blitz 100x which is not for a person my size even though it's rated for 275lbs. The Yellowfin 100 is rated for 375lbs. and I could feel the difference in stability and comfort right away. I have an $8K camera that I use to photograph water birds so I needed a stable boat but small enough to throw on my roof. It's only 10 feet so it does not track that well as expected but is good enough for paddling around smaller waters for doing photography. Tons of features and a lifetime warranty on the hull, also 1 year on parts. As for a few reviews about tipping over, losing fishing poles etc..., I bet those guys are just fat and clumsy, maybe drinking while boating? This kayak is stable as it gets at this size and paid $479 on sale was a steal.

Great Kayak But Have Some Issues
Lovely kayak, it’s lightweight sturdy and easy to maneuver but make sure to check it over before picking up as the bungee that holds the paddles was broken on mine. I also cannot get the back of the seat to connect to the bottom, it’s like it’s just too narrow for the base and is pretty much unusable.

Love This!
Took my new kayak out for it's maiden voyage (and my first time in a kayak) last weekend. I love it. I was on a calm lake. I found it to be super stable, and the steering was responsive when I rocked my hips. I'm a big person, 315 lbs and it handled me just fine. It has two dry containers and lots of room behind the seat for a cooler. I also loved the adjustable foot rests. I would very much recommend this kayak.

Vibe Yellowfin
Bought this a month ago. Haven't tried it yet, but it feels solid and the mesh seat is very comfortable.

Love The Kayak
I bought the kayak about a month ago and love it. The manager at the store was excellent helping me.
