Good Mobility, Light, Cool, And Great Protection
Bought these last season for my 13 y/o son playing in 14U pop warner. During summer camps he separated his shoulder, then first week of fall practice re-injured it. We got these after doing some research to find pads that had extra AC joint protection. They fit great, but we started with medium then exchanged for adult large. He was 6' and 190 playing QB and DE. Hes 6'1" and 200 now and the lathe still fit as a HS freshman. The fit and comfort are great and the shoulder support feels like he's wearing armor. We did put in a small custom "donut" pad for his AC joint. It was easy to do since they have Velcro on the inside for their moveable shoulder supports. We kept the supports on his good shoulder and used Velcro to attach our custom pad to his bad shoulder
