So Comfortable But…

I absolutely love the sole on these sandals - the most cushion I have ever experienced. I live in a coastal area with higher temperatures, so being able to wear supportive and cushiony sandals vs full-coverage athletic shoes is a blessing. Having adjustable straps at 3 points makes for a secure feeling walk too. I also like that the sole color matches the straps and the 2 pairs that I have. But I have 2 complaints. First, these are not even water resistant. Which is annoying living near the beach and dealing with pop up rain showers much of the year. Second, the straps around the ankle move around while walking. Before securing the velcro strap, I adjust the padded straps next to my skin so they are in line under the velcro. But within 10 minutes of walking, they start sliding out. I end up with the straps and pads not together creating a sloppy look and somewhat uncomfortable feel. My next step is to sew the padding to the velcro strap and use the heel closure to take the shoe on and off.

I love these sandals. I purchased them in Black first, and had to get the Multi Colored pair. The Multi Colors are fun, and work with everything. These are so comfortable. And the fact that they can be adjusted in three places is perfect for my wide bunioned feet. Great for walking and touring. I wore them on a holiday and they were perfect and worked with many outfits. Love love love.
