I am a big fan of Vortex and have these, the Viper HDs and the Razor HDs and while the Razors are by far my favorite I got these as a backup set to just leave in the truck in case I need to look at something and not worry about my super nice pairs getting lost or stolen. They are great for what I use them for, on the fly, within a couple houndred yards and in daylight you almost cant tell a difference in clarifty between higher end glass (there is a difference in edge clarity and FOV) low light it can get a little tough but not bad. If you are looking for a good starter bino and don't want to break the bank these are it! If you are looking for a backup pair of binos for the truck, range, sight seeing, these are it!
