Rated 5 out of 5 by from HIGH SPEED LOW DRAG! At the time of this review, the pictured item is incorrect.... The model I bought is the Lo Pro, the single mounting screw version with the skinny thin band. 1 thing...I'm sure it'll install on many scopes without removal, however - be aware - on my particular set up i had to remove the scope (low rings, Pic Rail). But what is very nice is the profile of the bubble level...it is very slim, but bulky or gaudy tacticool looking and very unnoticeable on the "non bubble side". On the side where the bubble is visible, the position and amount of where it sticks out is just perfect to open both eyes and "find the ghost bubble" while looking through the scope whether in the 2:00 upper or 5:00 lower position. It can be set up for left or right hand shooters. The bubble is very accurate, and "fast"...meaning just a little bit of cant / tilt moves the bubble quickly to the left or right...it is very sensitive. There are two lines to either side of the bubble center, customarily in construction to let the user know you are at a 2 degree cant. I did not check to see if it is calibrated as such or what the cant truely is at the second line. The mineral spirit inside is a nice shade of green that is not too dark, nor too light which the eye picks up the bubble nicely in low light conditions and isn't washed out in bright conditions. There is a nice round sight hole on top and the bubble is just the right size to fit in it if view from above (such as benchrest), and is nice to shroud the top and other parts of the bubble making it very stout and protected from damage and "washing out" in sunlight. It also seems to reduce the amount of glare or shine off the vial exposing only the part of the level you need to see. - PRETTY SLICK! I was a little concerned taking it out of round while installing it as it only has 1 mounting screw and you have to spread open the ring to get it around your tube, but found there is no issue within a reasonable amount of spreading it open. Yes you have to tinker with it to get it level as with all bubble levels when tightening the screw...as it tightens the bubble will move as the ring compresses. As it is a sensitive bubble, it doesn't take much to take it out of level. All and all very happy with this bubble, sturdier than it looks and as most Vortex products, it's well thought out with the end user in mind. Also looks elegant compared to most ring or scope tube mounted levels being smooth and only using 1 mounting screw. Will be purchasing 2 additional ones for replacing other levels I have on board other rifles. and once again, if the bottom of your scope has less than 1/2" gap between the it and the base or receiver, you may have to remove the scope, but well worth the effort.
