Rated 4 out of 5 by from Grilling history We purchased our camping grill when we were living in an apartment and it served us well. The only downside (and the reason I gave an overall rating of four stars rather than five) was that I couldn't get the spark-ignition feature to work - maybe I gust didn't have patience to get it adjusted properly. Thus I used a match to get it started. No, it doesn't grill quite as nicely as the Weber Spirit grill we now have, but for as small and handy as it is, it did a good job. One feature that I really liked was the ability to clean it up using commercially available oven grill cleaners. 'Have kept it looking new.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the quality of the original Still better than the cheap gas grills of similar design but should be for the price. I have already had to replace the gas regulator valve. The metal box is not as heavy it used to be, and I am not a fan of the new enamel grill, it looks like the top of a broiler pan - I preferred the old style with chrome grill and flavorizer bar (note - the old bar would eventually burn out and was expensive to replace and probably why they made the change). Weber went to plastic handles quite awhile back and they are terrible - they get very hot where the old wood handles did not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Standard design can't be beat This model, design, has been basically unchanged for years. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. We bought our first one 10 years ago and this new model is virtually identical. The cooking grate has been improved (solid with slots as opposed to typical grate). Dimensions are the same which means I can easily use it on my boat without any changes to the table/bench we set it on. We were even able to save the regulator from our old one "just in case". Even the price we paid was less than 10 years of inflation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still does not flare up. I bought this grill a year ago for future replacement of my first Go-Anywhere Gas Grill, which is 8 years old. I like the fact that I can leave the regulator setting (which I never change) at a set level and turn it on and off with the other valve. It is hotter than I prefer - even on the lowest setting. I am not happy with not having the flavorizer. The flavorizer kept the bottom much cleaner and may have distributed the heat better. The new broiler style top plate seems to leave a lot more burnt stuff on the meat, although it has still prevented flare ups. I may experiment with old components. Even with your cheapening it up, it is still a good grill.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed We had to replace our old Weber go anywhere grill that we had FOREVER and it was the greatest. Bought the new one 2 years or so ago and the burner will not light all the way and the flame only goes low. doesn't adjust any higher. So went out and bought another one and It doesn't work. Also don't like the new cooking surface, took our old grate out of the old faithful that died and so now we can only cook on low on half of the grill. Is there a replace burner for the grill? cant seem to locate anything online.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the original I finally replaced my original Weber go anywhere grill that literally went all over Alaska with me and my family on many adventures. (Maybe 15 yrs old??) I would brag about the thing and how old it was to all my friends. I finally broke down and bought the new model when the old one was staring to get too rusted out and greasy. The new one is lacking the steel cooking grate and grease catch and overall cheaper feel. Unfortunately the new one has made it on two trips and on the last one the regulator stopped working (barely any gas for flame) and we couldn’t cook a dinner for the group, adding to the dissapointment. I have searched high and low for a replacement regulator and have given up. Save your money and don’t buy this thing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not happy with new design I had an older model about 10 years old and i liked it. the gas regulator went bad and the flavorizer plate was going bad so my son bought me a new one for x-mas. I don't like the grilling plate the new style has as everything sticks to it and it is impossible to clean. The gas regulator was not working right on this one and the grill kept going out and would not get hot enough. Weber sent me a new regulator & now it works fine that way. They should have stayed with the old design for the cooking grate & flavorizer plate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy Duty My husband put this together in a snap and it worked correctly right away. We had a less expensive grill that had actually fallen apart. So glad we have this for camping now.
