Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buy something else This is a great buy if you don't plan to do anything with it but look at it. The pieces (poles, badminton rackets, stakes, etc...) are cheaply made. Basically everything except for the net which for some reason spans across three city blocks. If all the accessories were built as strong as the box it came in, I would up the rating to 2 stars. Very disappointed. Instead of family fun time, the kids listened to their father use foul language as pieces were removed from the box. I did have to explain that shuttlecock was the actual equipment terminology and not part of my tirade. This set even comes with a "carry bag" so you can carry it straight to the garbage can. The only upside?... this product was a gift and therefore I didn't have to spend my own hard earned money. Instead, my kids have to go through the rest of their lives lying to their uncle about how much fun they are having with something their father easily carried to to the garbage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great set for price (don't understand all the haters) I just bought this extremely easy to set up net. I tried Walmart first, and that stupid plastic pole set and net out of some stupid cheap fairy book was horrible. Honestly, if you know what you're doing, this net is extremely easy to set-up. I set it up myself, need another person to tighten the tension to make it perfect, but really easy. Steel poles keep it from bending or falling out of place. DO NOT HAMMER IN THE PLASTIC SPIKES. Buy 6" metal spikes and tie the rope around the end of the lip (sold at Home Depot for a 4-pack for like $4) if the plastic spikes don't stick. It was missing the cap for the volleyball to pump, easy fix by going back to Dick's. If you want a $300 quality net, go get it. If you don't know how to set one up, you're going to end up returning the $300 net also. This is SO worth the price. Oh, and if you don't know the space, it's always 30' x 20' so know what you're doing before you complain about the size in your yard. Worth the price!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stay away This was given as a gift. Upon trying to set up the plastic “stake” broke. So cheaply made. This company should be embarrassed to sell such a cheap product. Do not give them your money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible don’t waste your money Steel poles are nice this thing takes alot of retail needing a 60’x30’ space. All the other components are very cheap.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Net good / Ball bad I bought this for a family birthday party for my son in August. We had cheap ones in the past so I specifically asked at Dicks for something better. They recommended this one so it bought it and set it up. Setup was easy and the net was very sturdy. The All seemed nice too. We ended up getting into a big family game of volleyball and were having a blast. In the third game, the ball started to come apart at the seams. ended up having to throw the ball away When we were done. The net held up well for the day

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad tension system I've now had 2 of these, and the tension system is terrible. If the string becomes unthreaded, you're done. No instructions on how to re-thread. Why can't a manufacturer make an easy set up volleyball net? Will be returning this one as well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Low quality , not worth the money We bought this over memorial day weekend for a family BBQ used it twice and the net started coming apart at the seams, the plastic stake that goes in the ground broke as well. Very poor quality so we returned it. We did purchase this same volleyball set again to give it another try..... Again started falling apart within one use. Returned it AGAIN. Don't waste your money. This was 95$ to purchase so I would expect it to last more than 1-2 uses before it falls apart.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This set tries to do too much, does everything poorly. Looking for a backyard badmintion set for an Independence Day party, this was the only option Dick's had with a net. The net is "regulation" and thus it is HUGE in the backyard (way too big and we have a big back yard). There's not a good way to shorten the net. It comes with a volleyball and the poles can be adjusted to height for that, but they would be much too flimsy for that.
