Rated 4 out of 5 by from HANDY GADGET HANDY TO HANG A RANGE FINDER FROM. IT COULD BE A LITTLE QUIETER THOUGH. IT RATTLES A LITTLE BIT WHEN IT HITS AGAINST THINGS. WOULD BE BETTER IF IT HAD A COATING OF SOME SORT TO MUFFLE THE SOUND. MAYBE PAINT SOME FLEX SEAL OR RUBBER PAINT ON IT.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ring is weak The ring that attaches to the rangefinder bent very easily when trying to get it through the slot on my leupold. I took the ring off and tied the the rangefinder to the hole where the ring was with d-loop string and it's now a much stronger connection. It is slightly noisy for deer hunting if you pull it out quickly but it seems fine if you go somewhat slow. You can't beat the price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for hunting This thing is NOISY! Rattle metal on metal. Definitely not for now hunting which is why I bought it. Hard to believe they would make this poor of a product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Kind of noisy I expected this to be much quieter especially using it for hunting.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works fine, but the attachment ends are all metal and are very loud even when just attached. The retractable tether works fine but the attachment ends are metal and make a lot of noise even when you are walking or just moving around. Need to have another form of attachments that are quieter and still do what is needed. Also the size of the tether spool is not very small if you are trying to minimize items. It's about the size of the top of a pop can.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Impressed I purchased this at FnS 2-3 yrs ago along with a range finder. Considering its only used a few weeks a year, you’d think it would last forever, it doesnt. Mine broke where the cable connects to the steal cylinder connected to the tool ring. Trying to find out if Halo has a warrenty on this to have it replaced!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Noisy! I used this recently during an archery hunt in Oregon. It functioned well to keep my rangefinder handy, but the mechanism is noisy. I will try to place felt padding on it to quiet it down. Why didn't the maker realize it would have a noise issue?
