Ok Starter Glove

I purchased this glove for my 9YR old. After 1 cycle of spring and fall season the glove broke in well but the stitching is coming apart. If you are new to baseball and looking for a starter glove, I’d recommend something a little less pricey, if you anticipate stick around a couple seasons I’d recommend the Rawlings R9 Series, my 8YR old has used for the same amount of time and intensity and it’s in great condition an not super expensive.

Great glove, used through Little League AA-AAA seasons Fall Ball + Regular Season until my son outgrew it.

3/5 Stars - Good For 6-8u Machine Pitch.

2months of use. My son plays 9U baseball and this glove was his stepping stone into live pitch. This glove broke in well and initially had a nice leather feel. As time went on the glove broke down and started to fall apart. Hole started in the palm, then the leather straps started to break. I would recommend this glove for machine pitch 6-8u. And would expect to last those 2 years. 3/5 stars

Its Pretty Good!

I bought this about a month ago it was pretty easy to break in but the reason it is not 5⭐️ is becuase i took me a bit to get good with it about 2 weeks i made multiple errors when i first got the glive but then it got better 4 stars👍

Don't Waste Your Money

We bought this glove for our 8 year old son for Christmas. He finally has been able to try get some use out of it and played catch 3 times with his 7 year old sister. The pocket stitching broke already, therefore it is not usable anymore. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GLOVE. We tried to return it or even get an exchange since we spent 80 dollars of our hard earned money on this, for it to just break before his season even begins this year. So very disappointed in Dicks for not even allowing me a penny back for this purchase.

A One Season Glove, At Best

The "ultra soft" liner on this glove is cheap synthetic leather that's ripped through in several places in one season of use. My son chose this glove in the store because it was easy to close, but unfortunately that's only due to the light duty construction. The glove became very floppy quickly in the time a nicer glove would take to break in. We didn't have broken laces like other reviews, but I can see how that could happen. The thickness of the lace used is very uneven, with several extremely thin sections. Overall, I'm not real happy with this glove. I would not recommend it unless you're in a pinch and need a ready to play right away glove.

The Leather Is Soft Makes It Easier For My Kid To Catch.

I paid the extra money to steam the glove. This glove is night and day from the other glove he had. He is able to squeeze and close his mit easily.

Great Fit And Easy Break In.

This glove fit great for our 9 year old, playing rec ball and travel ball. Minimal break in time, was almost ready to go from the store. We will be buying another Wilson glove in the future when this has been out grown.

Easy Break In, Poor Quality

My son has played with the glove for 3 months and the laces already broke

Do Not Purchase

After 6 months of very light use every lace on this glove has either broken or is fraying. Every lace should not have to be replaced in this short of a time frame. I will contact Wilson today and see how their Customer Service responds.
