About This Item
SuperSkin™: Strong, Durable, Light:
Made of a microfiber material that actively repels moisture so it doesn’t get weighed down by rain or wet grass
Constructed to be two times stronger than cowhide leather and only half the weight
Placed on the back of the glove where it takes the most beating
Requires half the break-in time as conventional leather for quicker performance
The Premier Glove:
Pro Stock® Select: The top 5% of Pro Stock hides are chosen by a triple sorting process for consistency and flawlessness
Rolled Dual Welting™: Thin strips of Pro Stock leather skived thin and rolled to provide long-lasting shape and quicker break-in
Double Palm Construction: Thin, strategically placed cut of leather between the palm liner and outer shell for maximum pocket stability
Flat Finger Binding: Flat Finger Binding gives players who prefer to play with a finger outside the glove greater comfort and control in the field. By reducing the amount of space between your finger and the back of the glove, you’ll experience less pain when making plays
DriLex Wrist Lining: Keeps your hand dry and comfortable on the field and behind the dish

Awesome Glove
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought his glove because of the reputation Wilson has for gloves. Soon as I received the package, glove was molded to my hand. Break in was easy and now it’s my game day glove

Swag And Style I Love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my purchase. It shows style and swag all in one. Would recommend to others and looking to purchase another glove for my nephew who’s also a lefty pitcher & 1st basemen.

Perfection In A Glove
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I Like 1. Premium materials & build quality As part of Wilson’s A2K line, it uses Wilson’s top-tier Pro Stock® Select leather, which is known (in Wilson’s claims) for consistency, durability, and a good feel over time. The “SS” designation signals use of SuperSkin™ on parts of the glove (commonly the backhand), which reduces weight and improves durability and water resistance in those areas. 2. Design tailored for control & fit This 1810 model diverges from Wilson’s classic 1799 pattern in that it is designed with a single post + double bar web (rather than dual post) to provide more control in the outfield. The glove also features a reshaped wrist strap and a wider pinky stall intended to allow use of two fingers in the pinky stall, improving security and fit, especially for players who like a snug feel. 3. Deep pocket & strong break-in Early reviews on Wilson’s site mention the glove has a “very very firm break-in” but, once broken in, delivers a deep pocket and satisfying snap. Users on forums echo that A2Ks need a solid break-in phase. 4. Fit and hand stall considerations Some users note that Wilson gloves tend to run snug (especially out of the box). Comparisons between the 1810 and the more traditional 1799 pattern suggest that 1810 is a bit narrower in certain dimensions, which might affect how it feels on larger hands. ⸻ 👎 Trade-offs / Things to Watch • Break-in demand: Because of the premium leather and structural reinforcement, it won’t flex or soften easily at first. Be ready for a longer, perhaps more rigorous break-in process. • Snug / tight fit initially: If you have large or wide hands, the glove may feel restrictive before break-in.

Fantastic
Extremely well made glove with a nice deep pocket and a very very firm break-in. The snap of a well-caught ball is so satisfying it feels almost mechanical. The colors are a little polarizing to others but I can't help getting excited every time I pick it up.
