Helped Turn Misses Into Catches

My 8-year-old son needed an outfield glove, and he chose this one after trying a few options. I purchased this along with the Mizuno 12” Girls’ Prospect Select Series and the Wilson 12.5” Girls’ A550 Siren Series Softball Glove, and this was his pick. As with other gloves in Wilson’s A500 line, it was easy to do an initial break-in—he was able to use it within a few hours of purchase. He even made a great catch the same day in a spot where he dropped the ball the day before, which confirmed that he needed a glove better suited for outfield play. This glove fit the bill and did the job. It also seems to have more padding and feels more comfortable than the comparable baseball version. For boys learning to play the outfield, I think this is a great choice to help build both confidence and skill.
