My son picked out this glove for his 8th birthday and boy, did he pick a good one. We couldn't be happier with this 12" Wilson A550. As you can see from the photos, the ball really stays in this glove, even in less than ideal catches. He says that it's comfortable, easy to open, and quick to close around the ball. We had Dick's steam it in store and we flexed it around when we got home. The condition was so nice that my son started using it in games after just a few practices. The only adjustment we made was moving the wrist strap to its tightest position for a better fit. Every season there seems to be one or two bats you see used everywhere. This glove deserves that same praise. Go to Dick's and have your player try it on in store. It's a good one!
