Broke The Day We Got It

My son's catching coach recommended the A500 but my son did not like the black/red color. We purchased the A550 and the plastic piece that catches the velcro strap broke that day. I had purchased the protection plan and am trying to navigate submitting a claim. Wishing we would have taken it back to the store that day.

Aight

Glove is alright but stubs your thumb pretty easy especially if your not the greatest catcher so me.

Web Snapped

Bought glove for my son less than a year ago. Broke in quick. Only used in practice. Catching for a 12U throwing mid 60's. Web snapped.

Good Start, Bad Finish

Bought this for my 8 yo last season. Worked well initially, broke in quickly. Lacing is not good quality. Came loose frequently, especially the webbing, and ultimately snapped. Glove did not get heavy use and was only catching 8/9 year old velocity.

Cath It All

Great glove.. we just started Cather training and it has been a great glove for our 8u to use .. comfy and easy to break it

Not Worth It

Stiching coming apart already and not much of a pocket, ball easily drops out. I recommend not buying this glove.

Poor Lace Quality

My 10 year old son just bought this glove. He's used it less than 10 times and multiple laces in the pocket completely broke. The glove was just starting to break in and he doesn't want to start over, so I'm going to re-lace with higher quality lacing rather than try to return. I'm very disappointed in the glove though, I definitely would not buy this again or recommend it.

Web Strings

I got this for my 10 year old. He used it 6 times and the strings attaching the webbing to the thumb ripped apart. Both Wilson and Dicks were fantastic to work with. There are a significant number of reviews with this being a problem. Don't buy this glove.

Quality Glove

Fit was right, full leather glove, not overly stiff.

Great Quality Mitt

I bought this mitt for my 9 year grandson. It is sharp looking, well built with quality materials. The leather is soft and ready to be used out of the box. He should get 2 to 3 years out of this mitt. I am very pleased with it!

The A500 Of This Was A Good Mitt

I wouldn't be so quick to hate on this mitt for your kid. We have the A500 version of this glove, which be bought off Am*zon in October 2019. After a solid 2 seasons, spring and summer of splitting the catching duties, it was finally broken in. It is nicely constructed and mostly all leather (or leather-type) material. No fleece linings. Sturdy enough. Now that we are approaching spring 2022 and my kid will be 11, he can start the season with this. We are getting a backup to break in as only now the padding seems to be wearing thin and bigger kids throw harder.
