I catch my 12 year old daughter in practice and need a mitt because she hurts me catching with a normal glove. Looks like it has nice padding. However, I am a 6'4 adult male and the glove does not fit. Looks like I will go baseball catchers mitt.

Exceptional Value
Really impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of this glove. We needed an upgrade but didn’t want to spend hundreds, and this glove blew all of our expectations away. We did have it lightly steamed (5ish minutes), and then oiled and played catch with it a couple times and it was game ready by the weekend. Much more padded than her previous glove, and it’s got a great feel. She’s used it a full season and I don’t think you could beat it, especially for the price.

Great Mitt
Great catchers mitt, with a great price. Bought to catch for my 13yoa daughter, an outfielders glove just wasn't cutting it during pitch practice any longer. Break in was as expected, it was initially stiff. A mallet, lots of catching reps during pitching, and wrapping it with a softball in it when not in use developed a nice pocket pretty quickly. 5 of 5 glove for me.

Good Fit
Purchased this to catch for my daughter who is about to be 12. Glove seems to be breaking in nicely and feels good on my hand. Fits me an adult male well. I wish it had just a little more padding In the palm.

Hardest To Break In Mitt Ever!
I didn’t get an incentive for this review so it’s completely honest! Purchased this back in 2022, it’s been the hardest to break in mitt we have ever come across. It seems to be made of good, sturdy leather but here we are in April of 2024 and the mitt refuses to develop or maintain a pocket. We have beat it with a mallet, put so much glove conditioner on it it’s softer than my legs, caught so many balls out of the pitching machine I’ve developed arthritis in my thumb doing it, always stores it with a ball in it, and despite all this my daughter has caught countless games with it. Still, absolutely no pocket! She wore out a Mizuno Franchise glove while we were trying to break this one in. She’s primary catcher for her school team, travel softball team, and a boys baseball team she plays on so I don’t think it’s her! I’d say go with a better mitt, this one was a complete waste of time and money for us.

Amazing Glove
I bought this a few months ago for the upcoming fall season. Extremly stiff at first felt like a board but after a few weeks of use it loosened up and have been able to catch really well with it pitcher loves it too.
