Floor Model ( Dirty, Stains And Scratches)
I am extremely angry and beyond disappointed with this purchase. I bought a Wilson A-2000 catcher’s mitt from Dick’s Sporting Goods expecting a brand-new, top-tier glove. What I actually received was a beat-up floor model that was already dirty and scratched. This glove was sold as new, yet it clearly was not. After about a month of use, a scratch became obvious—damage that was already there and simply not noticeable at first glance. For a glove at this price point, this is completely unacceptable. No customer should be paying premium prices for equipment that has already been handled, abused, and damaged on the sales floor. Dick’s either failed at basic quality control or knowingly passed off a used floor model as new. Either way, it’s dishonest and reflects incredibly poorly on the company. If a product is a floor model, it should be clearly labeled, discounted, and inspected—not slipped to customers at full price with existing damage. The A-2000 itself is an excellent glove, which makes this experience even more infuriating because Dick’s ruined what should have been a great purchase. This has completely destroyed my confidence in buying high-end gear from Dick’s Sporting Goods again. If you care about your money or expect honesty when purchasing premium equipment, inspect everything closely or shop somewhere else.

Not The A2000s Of My Day
Extremely tough to break in. Overly stiff after a year of use. Wrist pinches my daughter so we have it overly loose for comfort. Not a fan of the spin stop and superskin. Used exclusively A2000 in HS and NCAA. Not a fan of the new versions

Great Catchers Glove
Little hard to break in, but obviously that's to be expected. Very sturdy strong glove definitely added to the joy of my daughter's game.

There weren't very many reviews. Heres my 2 cents. My daughter chose the All Star CMW-PHX over this glove because she liked the feel better. But the A2000 is a top of the line glove that anyone will be happy with after it's broken in. Price=qualit

Best Glove On The Market!!
Upgraded my daughter to a A2000 catchers mitt, this glove is very high quality leather. Mitt was super stiff at first but after beating it for a while the glove was manageable to play catch.
