Rated 2 out of 5 by Coast5 from Didn’t make it a whole season Bought this at the beginning of Spring ball and by middle of the season the top Velcro would come up snapped several times a game when my son would get in position. By the end of season the Velcro wouldn’t even hook so his knees were exposed to the ball. My son is a short guy so these fit great on size but when you play couch pitch and the top flap doesn’t cover your knees it’s not a help for bad pitches and foul balls. Definitely going to try to find some with hooks short enough for his legs. Wouldn’t buy these again.

Very nice beginners set for our young grandchild who wants to be the next Mike Pizza. He went to a Reading Phillies game and that is all he has talked about getting a catcher's set for his birthday that comes in a short time. We were very happy with the Wilson catcher's gear we received in a few short days after ordering on line.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kate32 from Easy for my 8 year old to put on and take off with little assistance So far this product has been great.. I read reviews about the Velcro losing it’s strength but so far so good. Love that my 8 year old can manage to put this on and take off in the dug our with minimal assistance. My child is tall and it still fits perfectly so maybe a bit generous in size.
