I’m A Fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a Blade fanboy! It’s responsive, controlled but with sufficient power, predictable and comfortable. It seems to do everything well, for early intermediates and above. It won’t play the game for you and no aspect of the racquet will overwhelm your opponents. But from the baseline to the forecourt it can get the job done. It’s reasonably crisp and shots go where you direct them.

Heavy Swing Weight

Received Frame unstrung weighed in at 299.8g with a balance of 32.3cm, certainly optimistic. Strung up with gut and restring sync and noticed it seemed very heavy. Mass was 317.5g with a balance of 33.4 while the swing weight was 329. Just too heavy for me. Ended up cutting off some of the bumper

Solid Racket

This racket provides such great compliments to power and touch. The feel is very good in the hand, and personally I love the weight. I don’t feel like I’m swinging nothing, but it is not so heavy that I’m fatigued. Originally I bought just one of the Blade V9 100 rackets, but it was such a great experience that I have already purchased my second one as well as planning for a third. This racket will easily carry me and my game as far as I can go. I’m a USTA 4.5 and I recommend this to anyone 3.0 or greater without hesitation. I’m in love!

Great Request But Poor Wilson Qc

I ordered 2 racquets with the same string setup from Wilson. You would think that if I’m having it done by Wilson there would be some QC. But sadly no. Weights and swing weights were both off. I had to lead tape to hoops and add weight to butt cap to one to make them the same. The bad part is now the weight is at 327g strung and swing weight is now right at 322. But the raquet plays well enough - I had already demoed one from my club. Good spin, good control and easy on the arm despite stringing with 4G at 44#.

Blade 100 V9

I struggled with this racquet using my normal string set up Diadem Solstice, however I switched to a Solinco Hyper G hybrid and all of a sudden the racquet opened up. Good power, precision, now I am looking to buy another, the string made the difference

Solid Frame - Good Control And Spin.

I played with it for a week so far and it is very nice frame. I am not sure if it will work for me at the end as I seem to prefer smaller head size in 98 area but I really enjoy the spin generation and ease of use. I tried V8 blades and thought that they lacked power but this V9 generation, I think it has extra pop. Worth a demo for sure!
