Great Racket For The Intermediate To Advanced Player

Had 2 already and needed 2 more. Hard to find the old V8 but Dick's had in stock in my grip size. Awesome racket. Have been playing with the Blade series my whole life.

Wilson Racquet

The racquet was a gift for my grandson. It was prefect. However, the shipping from New York was horrible. They brought the racquet to a Staples store who chose a box too small and didn't use strong shipping date. It arrived "open" and the box was crushed. .

Great Racket

After my last racket broke, I was in need of a new one, so I tried this racket out and was not disappointed. The racket itself has an even distribution of weight, and helps my shots be more consistent. With good strings, this racket is a must buy for anyone looking for a new racket.

Don't Change It!

This is the best racket I have ever played with. I heard a "new" version was coming out so I bought one more for a backup to the rest of them I have. I can't imagine a new version could play better. There is a reason so many players changed to this racket. As a suggestion, maybe you keep this "older" version around for players to purchase going forward. Don't fix what's not broken.

Grips Fell Off Within First 15 Mins Of Hitting

I just purchased two new Blade 98s and the grip slid off within the first 15 mins of hitting on BOTH rackets. Would love if someone would reach out to me asap.

I bought it for college tennis and it’s the best racket I’ve owned so far. And good service mine cracked and they helped me getting a new one

Can't Buy Grommets

No going to comment on how the racket performs. Bumper and grommets are not durable and most importantly, not available for purchase. Absolute joke given this has been a problem since the racket was released. Until this is resolved, don't waste your money unless you like your rackets on the sideline waiting for parts.

Best Racket I Have Ever Played With

I was using the Babolat Pure Aero and I loved that racket. However, when I tried the Blade I was blown away, at the power and control. It was also easier on my arm. It’s my soulmate tennis racket! I loved it so much that I bought 3 racketS!

Can't Beat The Blade

I have four blades - two V8 and two V6. It is an extremely versatile and comfortable racket and the V8 delivers exceptional control, feel and access to spin. I hit a one-handed backhand and am a generally a baseline grinder with spin on both wings, and I love this racket for my style and have never had arm issues (I string with normal tension polys). The increased weight on the v8 compared to older blades allows you to absorb more power. If you prefer more of a power racket or are a flatter hitter, this may not be a racket for you. Otherwise, it's going to do nearly everything you want from it.

The balance of my previous racket caused some inconsistency in my stroke but this racket is perfect for me. It feels like it swings itself.
