Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good tennis balls Good consistent balls for tennis. Wilson balls are firmer and crisper than Penn balls which seem softer and more forgiving on the elbow. I feel the Wilson balls on the string bed more than I do the Penn balls. Dunlop balls seem to keep the bounce longer and stay consistent a bit longer. I think I have a bit more control of the Wilson balls than the Dunlop balls. I play with heavier, control oriented racquets. This is my opinion on the standard heavy duty hard court balls. For most players, there will be no difference. The differences are very sutle. Certain balls may play better with different racquets, i.e. Penn balls might be better for the very stiff racquets to soften the impact.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Price Gone Up! Same great ball! Shouldn't complain since the Wilson tennis balls has handled inflation better than just about any product, but the fact remains- recently, the price has gone up.My mom joined the YMCA for $8 a year and I am paying over $800; so I do understand the tennis balls have handled inflation well.I use the Wilson clay court balls- last long, light and actually sounds good when hitting the racquet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tennis Balls This is my 2nd favorite tennis ball. My 1st is the Wilson US Open tennis ball. I like the extra duty felt for play on hard courts because they last longer. The only bad thing I have experienced is when I left a new can in my car and it was a hot day, they became very soft and fuzzy. I won't do that again. I play with new tennis balls every time and recommend that you do the same.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality tennis ball I have always gone with Penn tennis balls but decided to try Wilson's brand this time around and I am very happy with my purchase. These are high quality, standard hard court ball that hit well and has stood up to quite the beating.Sometime the fuzz (the outer layer) of the ball starts to come off after using it a lot, and these have not done that so far so I happy about that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good price for basic tennis balls Just needed to pick up a few cans of tennis balls. A quick comment - make sure to look at the label on the can & select the ones for your playing surface. They had a lot of clay court surface balls, but you don't want those if you're playing on a hard court (almost all courts are hard courts in our community). Dick's should carry more hard court balls & fewer clay court balls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Review of tennis ballsjQuery1820694072179030627_1394577657678? Dick's Sporting Goods has asked me to review Wilson tennis balls. They're so nice and round and fuzzy. They're yellow too. And they bounce - all over the place if you're not careful. They come in a really nice container that you can probably use for something else, like for cut flowers or drinking straws, after you don't need it for tennis balls any more.
